Fear Free Life
Fear Free Life’s Crime Prevention Graduation for the students from Randfontein schools at Phahama Senior Secondary School was a huge success. In attendance were by the Mayor of Randfontein Local Municipality and his colleagues and representatives from the Department of Correctional Services.
The recent Fundraising Breakfast Indaba was also successful and was attended by local businesses in Johannesburg, members of the local community, young people and representatives from the South African Police Service. The focus of the event was to look at ways of creating jobs for ex-offenders and school leavers to prevent them from becoming involved in crime.
Congratulations to Robbie Norval from Lingo Flamingo who has been selected as one of the 50 ‘New Radicals’ of 2016 by The Observer newspaper and NESTA (National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts). The award celebrates innovative projects making a difference to society. Well done, Robbie!
