Agency selected to build Common Good First platform

A pitching process to select the agency to build the Common Good First digital solution took place at the Cape Town workshop in early December 2017. The selection panel consisted of partners from the University of the Western Cape, Nelson Mandela University, Glasgow Caledonian University and Reykjavik University.

The company, which was the unanimous favourite of the team, is a relatively new start-up from Port Elizabeth in the Eastern Cape, Avocado Chocolate. The CGF partners were impressed with the quality of the pitch, their understanding of the project’s vision and the fact their CEO, Cornelius Greyling, came along with a mock-up of the website and an accompanying app demo.

Production on the platform started on 15th January 2018 and the site/apps will be delivered in July this year.  We’re looking forward to working with you, Team Avochoc!
